Polarity of the Molecule
The molecule Phenol, is polar because the molecule does not have equally distributed charges. This is due to the fact that the Oxygen at the top end of the molecule has two pairs of unshared electrons which make it more negative. This counteracts the Hydrogens in the molecule which are positive, and whose charges are equally distributes.
